The suspect was transported to the Fort Worth City Jail and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Case number 260024644 was assigned to the incident.
The Fort Worth Police Department said the arrest demonstrates coordinated teamwork between responding officers and investigative units to quickly identify and safely apprehend a dangerous suspect: "This is a great example of coordinated teamwork between responding officers and investigative units to quickly identify and safely apprehend a dangerous suspect."
The department also said it will not tolerate reckless or dangerous behavior with firearms and that those who act irresponsibly will be held accountable.
