**National Voter Education Week Activities Announced**

As part of National Voter Education Week, several R-Centers will hold events to help the community become more informed and confident voters.

Events will take place from October 7 to October 11 across various locations in Monroe County. The schedule is as follows:

- On Monday, October 7, from 4 – 6 p.m., the David F. Gantt R-Center at 700 North St. will assist individuals in registering to vote and provide information from the Monroe County Board of Elections.

- On Tuesday, October 8, from 4 – 6 p.m., the Frederick Douglass R-Center at 999 South Ave. will help attendees find their polling sites and early voting locations.

- On Wednesday, October 9, from 4 – 6 p.m., the Carter Street R-Center at 500 Carter St. will focus on helping voters understand their ballots and sharing that knowledge with others.

- On Thursday, October 10, also from 4 – 6 p.m., the Hope R-Center at 524 Campbell St. will offer information on becoming an election inspector or Spanish interpreter.

- Finally, on Friday, October 11, from 4 – 6 p.m., the Honorable Willie Walker Lightfoot R-Center for Equity at 271 Flint St. will assist individuals in creating a plan of action to vote.
